I discovered the beauty of creating digital art in the midst of moving house. I had signed up to complete a 100-day challenge, which was right in the middle of packing and relocating. As I wrapped my brushes and paints, I pondered how I could consistently create while traveling and not having access to my materials. Then it dawned on me! What was the one thing that I would have with me throughout the chaotic weeks and months to come? My phone! My iPad! I decided on the app, and with a not-too-steep learning curve, I was on my way.
Creating digital art invites me to relax, get into the flow, and bypass my inner critic. As a result, the artwork has a sense of ease and joy.
